About this Position

As part of our growth, we have created this new role to serve as the Business Systems Analyst. The successful candidate must be capable of translating process and system needs into solutions, while tightly managing project plans and measuring and monitoring user adoption.

You will develop key relationships with the Legal leadership team, the Risk team, the Compliance team, Acrisure employees, vendors, and agency partners by working collaboratively and providing outstanding customer service.

The successful candidate will serve as a role model of the Acrisure culture by listening carefully, identifying the root causes to needs or opportunities, and collectively developing recommendations and solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In partnership with key stakeholders, assists in evaluating, analyzing, designing and maintaining applications used by the company to promote efficiency and effectiveness across the organization

  • Understands and interprets business needs into processes, workflows, and system configurations

  • Develops system mapping and builds out system setups accordingly

  • Leads user acceptance testing (UAT)

  • Serves as a resource to key stakeholders for system configuration, enhancements, upgrades implementation, interfaces, and production

  • Performs root cause analysis for system issues and recommends system or process changes to improve go forward support of business needs

  • Develops and maintains project plans for process improvement projects

  • Translates complex problems and system concepts into end user support solutions

  • Partners with key stakeholders to create and implement end-user support solutions to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems (e.g., Training, Quick Reference Guides, etc.)

  • Partners with cross-functional leaders and process owners to support process mapping efforts to improve work flow inside and outside of technology

  • Partners with cross-functional teams and process owners to develop process maps, communications, training, and change plans for process and system changes

  • Trains cross-functional teams via group presentations, individual tutoring or remote instruction on process and system use

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in computer science, or the recognized equivalent in education and experience required.

  • Minimum of two years of experience with configuration and/or data management support, preferred.

  • Minimum of two years technical training and documentation experience, preferred.

  • Project Management Certification, preferred.

  • Change management methodology/tools certification, preferred.

  • Familiarity with Monday.com or similar Project Management application

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Project, Visio, Word, Excel and Power Point)

  • Experience managing internal databases and maintaining data integrity

  • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with continuously improving processes (end-to-end; inside and outside of technology) and configuring/implementing technology solutions

  • Knowledge/general understanding of insurance agencies and GAAP a plus
