Job Title: Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager

Hoffman Brown Company, an Acrisure agency partner, have a current need for a full-time Commercial Lines Account Manager Assistant to act as a team service provider for clients.


Under general supervision, to conscientiously undertake and complete position responsibilities in an accurate, timely and professional manner, thoroughly servicing company clients.


Renewal Process Responsibilities:

  • Set up files for new and renewal policies.

  • Maintain files in an orderly, up to date manner.

  • Seek advice from the Account Manager with any problems with their accounts.

  • Process paperwork assigned by Account Manager on same day as requested.

  • Assist in the completion of processing policies, endorsements, audits and other related policy transactions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Account Managers or Management.

Additional Functions:

  • Communicate with co-workers in a courteous and professional manner in order to provide continuity, uniform procedures and agency-wide communication and high morale.

  • Participate in monitoring adherence to professional standards and procedures.



  • Commercial insurance knowledge with at least five year’s industry experience and/or demonstrated ability to successfully handle complexities of the job.

  • EPIC experience

  • Excellent business writing skills

  • Excellent communication and organization skills

  • High School Diploma

  • Property/Casualty Broker/Agent license

  • Computer skills necessary to perform the essential functions of the job (i.e. spreadsheets, database, word processing and insurance software)


  • College Degree

  • Other applicable insurance designations (i.e. CPCU, CIC, CISR, etc.)


Direct reporting relationship will be with Joe Pratts for administrative, personnel, standards and procedural issues. There will also be direct reporting with Account Managers and Account Executives regarding client activity.

Pay Details:

Annual Salary: $60,000 - $68,000
