Job Summary:
The Personal Lines Account Manager will be responsible for managing and aiding clients with their service needs and making changes to existing accounts. The Account Manager will also be responsible for new business sales.
Hybrid work schedule.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify exposure to loss and recommend appropriate coverages.
Review of policies, verifies accuracy
Set priorities and manages work flow to ensure efficient, timely and accurate processing of transactions and other responsibilities
Investigate client issues and resolve problems
Make recommendations upon client needs & demographics
Process renewals according to agency procedures. Works on strategy determination, marketing and carrier negotiations, sometimes in conjunction with the Department Manager, Sales Executive(s) or Partner(s)
Complete applications, possibly in coordination with Sales Executive(s); submits applications to eligible and appropriate carriers, follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.
Maintain communication on a regular basis with clients to ensure client satisfaction
Interface with other departments to ensure proper client service.
Process incoming mail and phone requests, responding promptly and appropriately
Determine reasons for request for cancellations; act to save accounts; notify Sales Executive
Requirements:
Prior experience working in an administrative setting
Prior insurance experience, required
2-20 or 20-44 License, required
