LiDAC an Acrisure agency partner located in Great Neck, Long Island, has a current need for a full-time Customer Service Associate. The principal responsibilities of this position are to assist Brokers / Agents with product placement solutions and customer service issues, while maintaining client data files, supporting specific accounts with administrative, marketing and underwriting resources in working with selected insurance companies, as applicable.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Response via Phone & Email – Inbound & Outbound

    • To Include: Process requests, changes, quoting and maintaining a book of business

  • Data Entry into Agency Management System with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Process communication, correspondence and materials related to policy changes, cancellation and reinstatements, certificates etc.

  • Processing, opening and distributing incoming and outgoing mail as necessary

  • Provide information to brokers and clients on available plan types and carriers

  • Outlook Utilization

  • Tasking, follow-ups to complete assignments

  • Training and website navigation

  • Book of Business Analysis / Reporting / Data Management

    • To Include: Project Assignments

  • General Office duties

    • To Include: Liaison to Building Personnel, Conference Room / Supply Room, Vendor Maintenance

Education and Experience:

  • 1 to 2 years desired experience in the insurance industry preferred

  • Experience with client accounts and policy administration and service a plus. Including experience with DBL and PFL a plus

  • Proficient computer skills including: Word, Excel, MS TEAMS, Office 365, required

  • Prior experience with Agency Bloc a plus

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to type 50+ wpm

  • Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions

  • Exhibits passion and excitement over work, has a can-do attitude

  • Often solicits feedback and reacts calmly to criticism or negative feedback

  • Work is done in a temperature-controlled, non-smoking office. This is NOT a remote position

  • Workstations are cubicles with moderately high sides, three monitors and a headset

Pay Details:

Annual Salary: $40,000 - $60,000
