Billing Specialist (SASid)
Job Title: Billing Specialist
Location: Janesville, WI
A billing assistant is responsible for creating and sending invoices to clients for payment and researching disputed invoices. Under the supervision of the billing manager, this position requires an individual who has the ability to work independently, is able to work under pressure, is analytical and has excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities of a billing assistant include:
processing, tracking and completing billing statements
processing cancellations requests
issuing billing adjustments
handling inbound and outbound calls with customers regarding payment inquiries
performing data entry onto Company's business software
performs clerical tasks and other duties as assigned
Subject to assisting with “Supervisory” calls
High school diploma, two to three years experience working in billing a plus, and knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications.
Skills may include exceptional customer service, strong verbal and written skills, basic math, good quality of research abilities, superior organizational and advanced multi-tasking
Qualified candidates must be punctual
Knowledge of Dale Carnegie concepts a plus
Ability to respond to questions in a tactful and professional manner
