Job Summary:

The Personal Lines CSR will be the face of the office, greeting clients as they arrive, handling routine account service, taking phone calls, and checking mail. The position will also support Producers and Account Managers in writing new business and retaining renewals.

Position offers annual bonus based on Agency performance!

Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, phone transfers, claims submissions, and billing clarification

• Identify customer needs and provide appropriate solutions

• Use multiple carrier websites and client management software simultaneously while on the phone with a customer

• Use problem solving and critical thinking to resolve concerns

• Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication with customers

• Keep record of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and appropriately electronically file documents

Requirements:

• P&C license is not a must, but must be willing to obtain license within 3 months of start date

• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening

Education/Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year experience in Property & Casualty Insurance preferred
